Front of House Manager

The Front Office department is looking for a Front of House Manager to join the team. You should have a proactive attitude, excellent communication skills and an approachable and friendly personality.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Oversee the effective operations of our Front Office department, ensuring that all guests receive genuine and caring five star customer service
  • Build and drive five star Leading Hotel standards across the department
  • Provide leadership, direction and oversight to employees and initiate employment actions such as training, discipline
  • Have a strong knowledge of Opera, Health and Safety and Leading Hotel five star standards of service
  • Ensure that effective orientation and training for new staff and professional development activities for current experienced staff are planned and implemented
  • Assist with the recruitment and retention of employees

The ideal candidate for the position should:

  • Have a passion for hospitality and extreme attention to detail
  • Good organizational skills
  • Good ability to handle pressurized situations and busy periods
  • Flexible, innovative and adaptable
  • Strong team leader with good people skills – an effective motivator
  • This person needs to have previous Management experience within a Front Office Department within a 4 star/5 star hotel environment
  • Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Degree in Hospitality preferable, however not necessary
