Commis Chef

The Chesterfield Mayfair Kitchen, led by our Executive Head Chef Ben Kelliher is looking for a Commis Chef to join its vibrant and friendly brigade.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting all sections, in particular the larder section and preparing dishes to the required standard and specification
  • Preparing food for all food outlets including the restaurant, bar and room service
  • Ensuring that kitchen stations are kept clean, safe and hygienic at all times

The ideal candidate should:

  • Have previous experience in a similar role within a five or four star hotel or fine dinning restaurant
  • Have a good health and safety and food hygiene awareness
  • Have good knowledge of using a wide range of kitchen equipment
  • Communicate effectively in English
  • Be eligible to work in the UK on a full-time basis
  • Be positive, punctual, reliable and have a flexible attitude
