Pastry Chef de Partie

We are currently looking for a Pastry Chef de Partie to join our team at The Lodge at Ashford Castle

Key responsibilities of the Pastry Chef de Partie Chef will include:

  • Successfully graduated with a professional culinary arts degree
  • At least 3 years’ experience at a similar Pastry Chef level within a similar hotel environment
  • Good knowledge and practical chef skills within the area of Pastry
  • Be familiar with modern trends in cooking and to input ideas and suggestions for improvements and/or new dishes for your section
  • Adhere to Food Hygiene and HACCP Regulations and monitor Commis Chef’s compliance
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English

The core emphasis of this role will primarily be in ‘hands on’ capacity where the person will be involved in day to day cooking, running sections, administration, he/she will take instruction from the Head Chef and will assist in managing the kitchen operation itself.
