Demi Chef de Partie

The kitchen team within Hotel 41 and Rubens at the Palace Hotel is looking for a Demi Chef de Partie to join its exciting kitchen brigade. This is a full-time position with shifts between Monday and Sunday.

Key responsibilities include:

  • To help in the day-to-day running of the larder/sauce section
  • To help and work on any section when requested
  • Checking deliveries in the absence of the Sous Chef and Head Chef
  • Updating the freezer list
  • Stock taking
  • Ensuring that the sections are kept clean, safe and hygienic at all times
  • Maintaining high health and safety standards

The ideal candidate should:

  • Have previous experience in a similar role within a four star hotel
  • Have sound knowledge of drinks and beverage preparation and service
  • Communicate effectively in English
