The Oyster, Salmon & Sushi Bar, under the experienced hand of Sushi Chef, Wenxiu Liu, takes the venue to new heights. With its long marble bar a focal point, The Oyster Bar is proving to be an increasingly popular get-together spot, for business meetings during the day and live music and cocktails in the evening.
From Monday to Friday 12noon to 20h00, guests can order a selection of Sushi, fresh Oysters, home-cured Salmon, inspired Asian Tacos, Asian Prawn Cocktail and delicious Prawns and Crayfish. Items from the a la carte Seafood Menu can be ordered individually on request…accompanied by a glass of delicious ‘Bubbly or a cocktail.
If you’re a foodiie looking for something extra special, join Executive Chef Kevin Joseph and members of his culinary team at The Chef’s Table in the hotel kitchen. Available for bookings from from Sunday to Thursday, guests can enjoy a delicious 5-course menu for between six and ten guests at R950.00 per person.
A welcome accompaniment to the array of exciting dining options, The Oyster Box offers a selection of live music venues. Each evening (18h30 – 21h30) from Monday to Friday, talented musicians Wallace Nock and vocalist Eric Canham, entertain in the Oyster Bar. The Lighthouse Bar is open daily for cocktails and snacks, with live music from Wednesday to Friday (18h30 – 21h30) and on the weekend, The Ocean Terrace is ‘The Place to Be’ with entertainment on Saturdays from 12h00 – 15h00 and 12h00 – 15h00 on Sundays. An a la carte menu as well as the Incredible Curry Buffet is served in this casual venue and it’s the perfect spot for breakfasts and sundowners.
